 Wonderful shoes, but be careful about the size Aug 18, 2010

Crocs are one of those love them or hate them propositions. There's not much middle ground. So, if you hate them, these probably won't convert you to the other side. If, however, you're a fan, these are very nice shoes.
My main complaint with my other Crocs is that they can fall off at times. These are built just like a regular shoe, so there's zero chance of that. Lots of nice touches that make these ideal for water use - in addition to the holes on the sides, there's small holes through the sole so there's no chance for water to get trapped.
I also like them to wear just around the house. Very comfortable. Granted, there's zero style appeal in these, but I've reached the age where comfort trumps style 99% of the time. So I ignore how they look, and just enjoy them!
Be very careful regarding sizing. I wear a size 11 shoe, a size 11 sneaker, and size 11 conventional Croc. So, I bought a size 11 Quicktrail. Way too small - my toes mashed on the inside so much that I could hardly walk in them. Exchanged them for a size 12 and that fits a bit on the loose side, but very workable. A size 11.5 probably would be perfect, but they don't come in half sizes.
You may want to try these on in a store before ordering via mail to see if you need to up-size as well.
Other than the size issue, zero complaints. Highly recommend (if you can tolerate how they look).

Very pleased. Fits well, stays on, dries quickly. Sole is tough enough, and has good traction; doesn't mark (important - spend a lot of time on boats). So far, no problem with the collar retaining or creating any smells.
Should make a very good travel shoe - quick on and off for security checks and planes, looks good with jeans (manages to avoid the obvious Crocs look).
Hope they keep making this model.

Great shoes for Kayaking Aug 15, 2010

I bought these shows specifically for taking a novice kayaking trip with my son. They worked much better than the standard Crocs my son was wearing. They kept rocks out of the shoes but the water drained freely. Great Design!

Very nice fit and design that does not slip. I am a big fan of crocs for their casual everyday use. this is a very nice addition that is more protective for the feet and does not slip on wet floors which is a big deal with the classic model. it is not only a beach sporting gear it is also a nice travel gear to my good surprise. i took one star off because my wife thinks it is too bulky to wear on shorts.
